Emulate Energy is proud to announce the addition of two new members to the management team: Stéphane Velut as CTO and Johanna Zechel as Vice President of Customer Success. Both are seasoned professionals with a proven track record in the energy space.

Stéphane Velut, who holds a Ph.D. in control theory from Lund Technical University, brings over a decade of experience in the energy sector, specializing in modeling and controls. With a degree in Electrical Engineering and a background that includes technical expertise, project leadership, and industry direction, Stéphane is well equipped to lead Emulate’s technical domain. He was drawn to Emulate Energy for its innovative and sustainable approach to tackle the energy crisis by optimizing resource usage.
Johanna Zechel, who holds a bachelor’s degree in HR from Linköping University, has a rich professional background that spans a variety of roles and industries. She has worked with a range of customers, from large companies to small startups, and has a deep understanding of the energy sector. As VP of Customer Success, Johanna is dedicated to ensuring that Emulate’s customers receive the support they need for a smooth onboarding process and successful product launch. With skills in business strategy, coaching, and a passion for the energy industry, Johanna is poised to lead Emulate’s customer success efforts to new heights.
